The Alliance for Gray Market and Counterfeit Abatement is
a strategic initiative composed of leading high technology
companies committed to addressing the global impact of intellectual
property rights issues such as gray market fraud, parallel
imports, counterfeiting, software piracy, and service abuse
on the technology industry.
Class I - Manufacturer membership is currently comprised
of high technology manufacturers and is open to information
technology, electronic components, computer hardware and/or
software, semiconductor manufacturing, telecommunications,
proprietary technology manufacturing, and consumer' electronics
manufacturing.
Annual Manufacturer Membership Fee:
(i) First Region: $10,000 U.S.
(ii) Each Additional Region (APAC or EMEA): $3,000 U.S.
(iii) Worldwide: $15,000 U.S.

Class II - Associate membership consists of persons
or entities interested in the activities of the AGMA and which
currently own or hold the rights to a trademark or service
mark used to brand finished goods, services or products (including
publications) in industries other than the technology industry
and wish to share or learn non-industry specific best practices
with respect to gray market, counterfeit abatement and related
issues affecting all industries.
Annual Associate Membership Fee, Worldwide: $10,000 U.S.

Associate Membership Application (PDF)
Class III-Product or Service Provider membership consists
of persons or entities who do not qualify as Manufacturer
Members, Associate Members or Government and Law Enforcement
members, but who provide goods or services to combat gray
marketing, counterfeiting, service warranty abuse, or any
other AGMA related issues affecting the Manufacturer members.
Product and Service Providers members may include law firms,
accounting firms, security label providers, brand protection
forensics investigators and business solution providers.
Annual Product or Service Provider Membership Fee, Worldwide:
$10,000 U.S.

Class IV-Government and Law Enforcement membership
shall consist of individuals who are employed by a federal,
state or local government agency and whose responsibilities
include investigating, taking action against and creating
legal deterrents with respect to gray market, counterfeit
abatement and other related issues. By way of example and
not limitation, Government and Law Enforcement members may
include individuals from the Federal Bureau of Investigation,
Bureau of Security & Industry, Department of Homeland
Security, Customs and Border Control and Immigration &
Customs Enforcement.
There is no membership fee for Government or Law Enforcement.

Membership Fee is due at the time of enrollment, and is non-refundable
and renewable on each member's 12-month anniversary. Annual
Fee is required per year to remain in good standing.
Founding members of the group are Hewlett-Packard, Cisco
and Nortel. Other internationally recognized brand name companies
have since joined the alliance as members. If your organization
